in response to fatal132... I can defenitely relate to your situation. I have 3 beautiful sisters and the most loving mom in the world but we are a week close to losing our apartment and we have nothing. I have done research and applied for several grants and i have been on craigslist and snagajob and yahoo hotjobs and i can tell you that i have not received a single response other than that we do not have a car so i have no way of getting around my neighbor is letting me use her car to go to school three days out of the week so im thinking if i can get a job i can have some kind of income coming in the three days i can use her car but even at that i still have to keep my place to stay and i have went to churches and different organizations that are administered to people that need help via food, housing, but i cannot get any help and i can still see the light at the end of the tunnel but it is getting ever so vague and i have been in school for 2 years im in a criminal justice program for my bachelor's degree and im about to lose that if i lose my place!!!!!!!!! not only that but i have my family that i need to look after because my dad left my mom so i am basically the male figure of the house and it is not anyone's responsability but mine to take care of my family and myself so i cannot get mad at someone for not helping me and beleive it the people that have money and are not struggling have put their sweat and blood into their earnings so it is hard to ask someone for help knowing that all they have to say is no and there is no response that i can give that will invalidate that answer. My fear of losing my family is pushing me to do something Irate but i know that our government was never designed to facilitate such a large population of people effectively with the type of government we have in place. All i can say for my family and myself is that i tried and without any way to prove myself to be the individual that i strived to be so much I cant look at myself and be proud anymore. Who ever read this thank you for taking the time to look at life through someone elses eyes that may not be in the situation you are in.
